If you happen to spot a sleek black lab trotting proudly around Château Rouge, tail wagging like she owns the place, you’ve met Sage—our unofficial greeter, morale booster, and full-time good girl.
Sage starts her mornings doing a perimeter check (very important work), loves a good snowbank or sunny patch of grass, and firmly believes every guest is here just to meet her. She’s friendly, gentle, and always happy to make a new friend—especially if ear scratches are involved.
Sage also wants all her visiting dog friends to have a great stay too… and she asked us to pass along a few polite reminders.
Bringing your dog? Sage says thanks for helping us keep Château Rouge beautiful:
- Please clean up after your pup – Sage likes a tidy yard.
- Use the provided sheets and furniture covers to protect our couches and beds
- Keep dogs leashed while on the grounds – even Sage knows safety first.
- Don’t leave pets unattended in the condos or outside.
- Dogs are not allowed in the pool house (Sage tried once… it was a no.)
